Cairn

Boxes
Petite Friture
2011

Cairn is a set of turned-wood boxes that can be freely assembled thanks to magnets. They can be arranged the right way round or upside down, defying any unsteadiness. Unexpected shapes appear, referring to the idea of an infinite architecture. Their irregularity recalls the colonnades of the Jaïn temples, extravagant buildings erected towards the sky.
