Karaoké
Karaoké is a collection of tables and desks that pays tribute to reuse: pieces are taken and reassembled into a brand new object.
The first collaboration with Atelier Emmaüs, the piece is composed in the silence of the studio, where it is mixed and remixed until the right balance is found.
The DJ (Designer Jockey) naturally takes great care with the transitions between pieces, crafted in solid wood. The panels come in a symphony of colours, so that everyone is free to play their own part.
For the electronic version, it's all in the leg, for those who want to plug their equipment into a socket.
Designed around the material stocks and usual techniques of Atelier Emmaüs, this collection enables apprentice craftspeople in professional integration programmes to build the furniture independently.
