Angelin Preljocaj, costumes de danse

A suspended installation welcomes the visitor. It evokes some of the strong themes of Angelin Preljocaj work’s: verticality, line, the color black and light.
The first rooms offer to discover the story of the choreographer and his working method. The following rooms are a dive in eight emblematic ballets. Presented on models on one side, the costumes come to life in the screening of the shows on the other side.
The last room allows visitors to experience the interactive device developed from Helikopter ballet. The floor is brought to life by the rhythm of dance moves to the sound of Stockhausen’s music.
